Editorial Policy

How we source, write, and maintain our content.

Sources and Citations

All factual claims in our protocols, guides, and blog content are sourced from one or more of the following:

  • Peer-reviewed research published in indexed scientific journals
  • FDA-approved drug labeling (prescribing information)
  • Published clinical trial data (including ClinicalTrials.gov registrations)
  • Established pharmacology and endocrinology reference texts
  • Government health agency publications (NIH, EMA, etc.)

We take a different approach to community knowledge. Where anecdotes from forums or self-experimentation come up, we state what they tend to suggest, apply proper scrutiny, and assess whether we consider them reliable. Our protocols are built on published evidence — not anecdotes — but where anecdotal patterns add practical context, we include them as supplementary insight, clearly labeled as such.

Citations link directly to primary sources wherever possible. We do not cite other informational websites, blogs, forum posts, or vendor marketing materials as evidence.

Content Review

Protocols and guides are reviewed when new relevant research is published that may affect dosing recommendations, safety information, or mechanistic understanding. Our team monitors key journals in pharmacology, endocrinology, and biochemistry for updates relevant to our content.

Independence and Conflicts of Interest

peptide.diy operates independently of all peptide vendors, research chemical companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and clinical providers. We do not accept payment for content placement, favorable mentions, product recommendations, or referrals. No money is paid to peptide.diy by visitors or commercial partners. Where external links appear, they are provided purely as reference resources.

Scope of Content

Our content covers peptides and related compounds in the context of research and education. We do not provide content intended to facilitate illegal activity, and we include appropriate legal and safety disclosures throughout the site.
